THE EQUIPMENT
We use mostly Nikon Cameras and lenses. We shoot both digital and film. Unlike many photographers we don’t believe film is obsolete. Film continues to make many advances and technological changes. We will some times shoot both and let the customer decide the results.
We like using wireless lightning to afford us the ability to use long lenses. The Nikon advanced wireless system enables us distance without loss of light.
At events we shoot mainly digital for convenience and to keep costs low. At weddings we will alternate film and digital on posed shots but shoot only digital during the ceremony. For Large group portraits we use Medium format Film cameras which we rent. On occasion we will use special effects lenses to soften edges for more dramatic portraits.
